This program combines a review and application of risk management concepts, along with exam preparation for the PMI-RMP certification. The program establishes a foundation of the basic risk management methodology (based on the PMBOK 6th Edition), and builds on it with practical application of risk management concepts and techniques, along with advanced considerations around risk. In addition, the program covers the PMI-RMP certification exam, including the application process, the domain and the tasks.
This course is designed for anyone preparing for the PMI-RMP exam.

In this course, participants will:

  • Explain the risk management process as defined by the PMBOK® Guide
  • Identify the steps in developing a risk management plan
  • Review the process of creating a risk register
  • Explain key processes in the Risk Communication domain, including documenting risk information and assessing stakeholder risk tolerance
  • Explain key processes in the Risk Analysis domain, including identifying and evaluating relevant risks and their potential impact
  • Apply key tools and techniques employed in the qualitative and quantitative analysis of risk
  • Review key processes in the Risk Response Planning domain, including developing risk response strategies and contingency plans and managing stakeholder expectations
