TEKsystems named to Index for commitment to inclusion and diversity in the workplace

TEKsystems, a global provider of technology, business and talent solutions for more than 80% of the Fortune 500, today announced it has been named to the 2022 Seramount Inclusion Index, which recognizes organizations who have established inclusion, diversity and equity (IDE) best practices to create inclusive workplaces. Seramount evaluates hundreds of companies annually with increasingly high standards for IDE progress each year. This is the second consecutive year TEKsystems has been named to the Seramount Inclusion Index.

TEKsystems values giving voice and access to diverse perspectives in equal and inclusive ways. By seeking out and embracing diverse backgrounds, TEKsystems leverages differences and fosters full participation of every employee. To achieve this goal, TEKsystems’ commitment to inclusion, diversity and equity includes a combination of active strategies to recruit, mentor, support and promote a diverse workforce.

Now in its sixth year, the Seramount Inclusion Index helps organizations understand gaps in demographics, diverse talent strategies and corporate cultures. All organizations receive scores in three areas, including best practices, inclusive culture and demographic diversity. The index recognizes companies that use best practices in recruitment, retention and advancement of people for underrepresented groups. Organizations should create an inclusive culture through leadership accountability, clear communications and employee engagement. Finally, each company on the Index demonstrated improvement in demographic diversity for women and minorities, especially at more senior levels and in promotions.
