Franklin Reed Will Moderate a Panel Discussion About Successful IT Careers for Women
TEKsystems®, a provider of full-stack technology services that address the pressing strategy, implementation and talent needs for more than 80% of the Fortune 500, today announced that Director of Inclusion and Diversity Franklin Reed will moderate a panel discussion titled, “Successful IT Careers Await—Don’t Fall for the Myths” at the Women in Tech Midwest Summit on May 3, 2019, in Chicago. Reed will be speaking on the panel along with Sue Wallace (Executive Director, National Workforce Solutions, Creating IT Futures) and Tracey Welson-Rossman (CMO/Founder, Chariot Solutions/TechGirlz).
The panel will focus on the established myths that are preventing young female professionals from securing successful careers in IT and the common misconceptions that discourage women from pursuing technology careers. The panel will also educate attendees on what employers are seeking from today’s professionals.
