Michelle Webb Honored with Women in Leadership Executive Impact Award; Melanie Staley Highlighted in SIA’s “Global Power 100”

TEKsystems®, a leading provider of IT staffing solutions and IT services, today announced that Executive Director Michelle Webb has been recognized with the Women in Leadership Executive Impact Award by Linkage, a provider of leadership development insights, education and strategic direction for organizations. Now in its third year, the award honors executives who have been a driving force in the advancement of women within their companies.

Linkage will present the award during a panel discussion at their annual Women in Leadership Institute on Nov. 15, 2017, at the Omni Dallas Hotel in Dallas.

The Executive Impact Award highlights individuals who have made it their mission to drive change in their organization and make every day better for the people around them. Linkage gathers a multidisciplinary committee each year to review and evaluate the nominees on criteria including their position of leadership, level of influence, drive for results, having a lasting impact for advancing women, passion for the cause and a compelling personal story.

As an executive director on the Employee Experience Team, Webb is responsible for developing, supporting and driving programs that will support every employee at TEKsystems.

“Our women in leadership are dedicated to changing the conversation in order to empower women and influence leadership to create positive change. We moved from women getting in a room to solve ‘women’s problems’ to understanding that ‘women’s problems’ are everyone’s problems and we need everyone’s support to make the necessary changes,” says Webb. “This means creating opportunities to talk about what would help support women in the workforce, what type of leadership is needed and empowering women to manage their own career development.”

In addition, Regional Vice President Melanie Staley has been recognized in the “Global Power 100 – Women in Staffing 2017,” presented by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA). The third annual list highlights women whose achievements exemplify the evolution of work and related solutions amidst the current atmosphere of technological evolution, economical shifts and legislative developments.

“As a woman, a mother of daughters and in my position as a leader at a great organization, it’s an honor to be recognized by SIA for this accolade. As the nature of our business continues to evolve, we understand our approach has to evolve with it. Finding the best solutions for our clients will always be our No. 1 priority. Our ability to innovate in order to address the challenges inherent in providing quality technology solutions along with creating an exceptional consultant experience is what will keep us at the forefront of our industry. I’m very proud of the work we’re doing around this challenge!” says Staley.
