TEKsystems’ Pittsburgh Branch Office Donates to Local Families in Need

HANOVER, MD – November 27, 2009 – TEKsystems’® Pittsburgh branch office worked with several charities this Thanksgiving to organize a food drive for local families in need.
In October 2009, TEKsystems’ Pittsburgh recruiters, John Bowman and Molly Slepecki, spearheaded the effort by collecting non-perishable food items, along with personal and healthcare products they could donate.
Just before Thanksgiving the items were delivered to a local church’s food pantry which helps to feed and support over 230 families in the community.
“Helping people is what TEKsystems and our team is all about,” said Cherish Thomas, Pittsburgh’s Director of Business Operations. “We serve others and I can’t think of a better way to help others than to lend a supportive hand when they are in need.”
