TEKsystems Hosts Third Annual Government Summit

HANOVER, MD – September 02, 2009 – TEKsystems®, the leading provider of technology staffing and services, held its 3rd Annual Government Summit to discuss the changing needs within the government contracting industry. The objective of these summits is to create deeper partnerships with customers by understanding their future technology needs and how to continuously providing added value.
The event was attended by over 60 Account Managers and Directors of Business of Operations, and was lead by TEKsystems Government Services leadership in partnership with Force Management. The sessions focused on acquisition planning, agency funding, contract vehicles, prime contract holders, and eventual awardees.
In addition, guest speaker, Scott Cragg, (Veteran Affairs) was in attendance. Mr. Cragg is the Deputy CIO, IT Enterprise Strategic Policy, Plans and Programs and leads seven of Office of Information & Technology’s lines of business which include Enterprise Architecting, Research and Innovation, IT Strategic Planning, IT Portfolio Management, Program Management Oversight, and Business Relationship Management and Vendor Relationship Management. His speech focused on the importance of bringing value to every customer contact, and understanding the agency mission, as well as the trends and initiatives within the federal marketplace.
