Industry Experts Convene to Discuss Strategies to Fulfill Organizational Demand

In addition, TEKsystems will be showcasing its transformational Risk & Security solutions in booth #2462 in the South Expo. The RSA Conference takes place March 4 through March 8 at the Moscone Center and Marriott Marquis in San Francisco.
The session, titled Solving Our Cybersecurity Talent Shortage, takes place on Monday, March 4, beginning at 8 a.m. local time. The four-hour session will focus on why valuable professionals are opting out of the profession mid-career, how to recruit and retain employees with the required skill set and who within the organization should bear the responsibility for fulfilling the need. Participating in the panel focusing on organizational responsibility is Alicia Jessip, regional inclusion and diversity manager at TEKsystems.
Highlighting the critical shortage, TEKsystems recently released findings that indicate 90 percent of technology leaders (chief information officers, vice presidents, directors, technical hiring managers) will be in the implementation or planning phase of security-centered initiatives. Compounding the issue, these same leaders indicate that security-related skills were the second most difficult to find skills in their recruiting efforts.
