TEKsystems Executive Named to Hispanic Information Technology Executive Council's Prestigious HITEC 100 List for the Second Year

Ricardo Madan, vice president of technology products and services, honored as one of the most influential and notable Hispanic professionals in the technology industry

TEKsystems, a provider of full-stack technology services that addresses the pressing strategy, implementation and talent needs for more than 80% of the Fortune 500, today announced that Ricardo Madan, vice president of technology products and services, has been named to the Hispanic Information Technology Executive Council (HITEC) 2020 Top 100 list of the most influential and notable Hispanic professionals in the technology industry. Ricardo was also included in the HITEC 2019 Top 100 list and served as an executive mentor for the Emerging Executive Program to help guide and advise future Hispanic technology professionals and business leaders.

The HITEC Top 100 list is a compilation of the top Hispanic professionals in the technology industry from across the United States and celebrates their leadership and achievements in all sectors of the industry. Awardees are evaluated on their accomplishments in the ever-changing global landscape of technology and for their mentoring and professional development activities. Individuals included on the list were selected by the 2019 awards committee. Nominations are solicited from HITEC members and the general public.

Ricardo has been a key member of TEKsystems’ executive team for over 13 years and currently resides in TEKsystems’ Global Services where he oversees the delivery of technology solutions, strategic planning and implementation services that enable leading companies to take full advantage of digital transformation. In a recent feature in Hispanic Executive, he reflected, “There’s a reason I’m still at this organization. It embodies the spirit with which I was raised—to value an abundance of diversity.”

Since 2015, TEKsystems has hired more than 500 individuals from its inclusion and diversity partner programs, and currently 24% of TEKsystems consultants are women and 37% are people of color.

The awardees on the HITEC Top 100 list will be recognized during the HITEC Awards Gala benefiting the HITEC Foundation after the conclusion of Day 1 of HITEC's Fall Leadership Summit on Oct. 24, 2019. The gala will be held at the San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront.
