TEKsystems’ Achieves ISO 9001:2008 Certification

HANOVER, MD – October 22, 2009 – As part of TEKsystems’® Quality Management Program, the Global Services Quality Management Team (QMT) successfully achieved the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 certification for a collection of Quality Management Systems (QMS) for the Project Management Lifecycle for the Global Services practice area.
To achieve certification, TEKsystems:
- Managed a set of procedures to standardize and optimize all service planning and delivery processes for Global Services practice lines
- Monitored current processes to ensure effectiveness
- Kept adequate records of performance
- Verified process outcomes for defects
- Regularly reviewed each process and the quality system itself for overall effectiveness
- Facilitated continual improvement efforts
