The challenge:Data Dilemma
As part of their IT transformation roadmap, our client’s Japan entity sought to enhance their in-house data engineering and business intelligence (BI) analytics capabilities. Data visualisation tools such as Power BI would be adopted organisation-wide, with a long-term objective of transitioning to the Snowflake suite.
However, driving this data transformation was no easy feat. Our client’s in-house team relied heavily on Microsoft Excel and other basic tools for data collection, cleansing, and analysis. Their existing vendor had struggled to deliver on key personnel requirements, thereby compromising team capacity and capability.
Additionally, a mission-critical data migration project was facing significant delays and high turnover. As a result, our client sought a new partner who could prioritise their needs, deliver high-quality outcomes, and maximise their technology ROI.
