The proposition:Compromised by Capability Gaps
Our client's Hong Kong entity was undergoing a significant Agile transformation, with a multi-year strategic roadmap to revamp their ERP system and launch multiple customer-facing applications. One of their flagship initiatives was the development of a cutting-edge loyalty application for patrons and VIP customers to book hotels, resorts, and entertainment facilities.
Leveraging Scrum and Spotify frameworks and operating in a product-driven environment, our client maintained high technical standards and sought to ramp up their project team with top-notch talent. Despite engaging multiple vendors, they struggled to bridge their capability gaps and bring in the right expertise to drive the loyalty application rollout. The time zone difference and communication barriers between their IT team in Hong Kong and their offshore managed services vendor in Ukraine created further complications.
