One of our client’s key strategic priorities was to drive a digital transformation initiative, aimed at reducing paperwork and upgrading their web and mobile banking channels within their China business. Key to this was modernising the platform architecture and API infrastructure, which required additional bandwidth and specialised technical capabilities lacking in our client’s in-house team.

To drive this time-sensitive modernisation, our client needed all project resources to be onboarded within two months. They also wanted to diversify their Digital Engineering team, aiming for at least 35% female representation. A fixed budget and a desire to reduce deployment costs while also ramping-up the team with seasoned Senior Full-Stack Engineers added further complexity.
