TEKsystems Receives Military Friendly® Employer Recognition for Eighth Straight Year

Recognition demonstrates efforts in creating continued career success for military, veterans and their spouses

Since 2003, the Military Friendly® lists have come to set the standard for organizations that are committed to creating sustainable economic benefit to the military community and all the important parts of the community: the employee, the spouse, the family, the consumer and even the supply chain.
TEKsystems ranked five in the top 10 of the company’s respective revenue category out of more than 1,000 companies that participated in the survey. This is the eighth consecutive year the company has earned the Military Friendly® distinction. TEKsystems’ ranking speaks to an ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive environment, including creating continued sustainable and meaningful career paths for the U.S. military community. Since 2013, TEKsystems has helped more than 19,000 servicemen and servicewomen.

Each year, TEKsystems helps over 3,000 veterans, active military and their spouses secure careers in technology, recruiting, sales, human resources and business careers across the country. To help with the transition from military life, TEKsystems offers a broad range of career development, training and mentor programs. Understanding that career transformation is an ongoing ambition, TEKsystems partners with several veteran-related organizations and programs, including SkillBridge, 50Strong, ACAP, CSP, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, Military Spouse Employment Partnership, Pat Tillman Foundation, USO, Veterati and the Wounded Warrior Program.

Institutions earning the Military Friendly® Employer designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. Methodology, criteria and weightings were determined by VIQTORY with input from the Military Friendly® Advisory Council of independent leaders in the higher education and military recruitment community. Final ratings were determined by combing an organization’s survey score with an assessment of the organization’s ability to meet thresholds for Applicant, New Hire Retention, Employee Turnover and Promotion & Advancement of veterans and military employees.
