Our client is a new-age consultancy focused on helping high growth startups and agile enterprises migrate into the future of IT through cloud-native applications and data systems.

The challenge: New market, new challenges

Originally based out of India, our client decided to move their headquarters to Singapore. On top of being a new entrant to the local market, they had aggressive revenue targets to facilitate future growth.

One key project included supporting their public sector customers with cloud computing, for which they required resources who were Singapore citizens (Cat 1). Enter TEKsystems, to fulfil the requirements and accelerate our client’s local market expansion.

Our proposal: Small pool, deep networks

TEKsystems partnered with our client's co-founders to understand their business landscape and provide local market intel. We then bolstered their brand by formulating an attractive employee value proposition that positioned them as a leading cloud partner.

Despite the skillsets being relatively niche and rare within the Singaporean talent pool, TEKsystems identified experienced talent using targeted sourcing strategies and leveraging our extensive candidate networks within the desired requirements.

Real-world Results

Since early 2022, TEKsystems placed 33 permanent employees across multiple skillsets including Cloud Delivery, Solution Architecture, Data Engineering, Project Management, SaaS Product Marketing, and UI/UX Design.

We played a pivotal role in expediting our client's growth from a startup of $5 million to $14 million USD. This growth attracted the attention of another tech giant, who subsequently acquired our client, providing an even stronger foundation for the next phase of their business.

TEKsystems continues to support our client's ambitious roadmap of growth to become a US$250 million business, and expand to new markets in Southeast Asia, Australia, and the United States.
