Contract to Hire
With this recent acquisition their Technical Support organization is looking to add an additional 10 resources to their team to support the unexpected growth and demand for support for their customers. Due to the acquisition Simplivity's L1, L2 and L3 support tiers have become over capacitated with support issues and tickets due to growth of their sales and products.
They are currently looking for Technical Support Engineers who are open to working first and second shift to provide 24X7/365 support for their customers. The qualified candidate will posses a strong background and passion for troubleshooting, break fix and solving complex issues related to the following technologies
- Virtualization - VMware - ESX 5-6.5.
- Networking - HP, Dell, Cisco, Lenovo equipment
- Server Administration - Linux - Ubuntu or other flavors
- Storage (Huge Plus) Basic SAN/NAS and LUN experience
- Simplivity product (will be trained on these)
The ideal candidate will need to be able to explain specific process of how they research challenging technical issues. This person will also have to be comfortable working on issues that they are uncomfortable with and have not encountered before, therefore their outlook on how they research and figure out how to fix these issues are going to be key.
someone who wants to be in a true systems administration type role will not be successful in this role, however someone who has a passion for Technical Support and has a strong work ethic will be extremely successful.
