This position provides 2nd level technical assistance in support and preparation of desktop supported applications and hardware. This position requires extensive knowledge and experience with desktop technology including, but not limited to, Windows desktop operating systems, desktop applications, MacBook Pros, multi-function devices (print/fax/copier/scanner), and wireless devices such as Android smartphones, Apple iPads and MiFi wireless hotspots.
This position will be the subject matter expert for multimedia technologies which will include implementing new AV and multimedia technologies, providing technical assistance, and creating documentation and training materials. This person will have extensive knowledge of web conferencing technologies (Skype 4 business, WebEx, GoTomeeting, adobe connect). Background of online multimedia streaming protocols. This position will have extensive knowledge of video and audio recording, editing, and production. The person is expected to have Working knowledge of A/V equipment including; microphones, mixers, XLR cables, audio codecs, video cameras, and other related multimedia equipment. The person is expected to have working knowledge of video conference technologies such as Cisco Telepresence or Polycom HDX/RealConnect. This position will be responsible for planning and deploying conference room AV technology including projectors, displays, microphone arrays, speakers, and cameras.
