Job Description:

Java Full Stack Developer --This individual will be a part of a team focused on driving the future of G6 Hospitality applications. Candidate will be responsible for solving problems by creating solutions for new application and enhancements of existing applications for variety systems utilized at G6 Hospitality. This candidate must possess extensive end to end knowledge of systems, data structures, and service based architecture to 1. Replace all systems and integrate to unified platform 2. Move everything to the Cloud.



Additional Information:

* Position can be Direct Placement or Contract to Hire
* G6 Hospitality will sponsor VISA and Greencard Process - several team members are on VISA or recently received Green cards through G6 **

* Participate in high-level architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality and integration with existing systems and platforms.
* Analyze and understand business requirements and coordinate with team for all project deliveries
* Provides consultation on complex projects.
* Develop systems including coding, testing, and debugging.
* Provide daily production support and problem resolution for assigned applications.
* Produce timely status reports and projections.
* Assist in the creation of time lines of projects.
* Develop Documentation, including Design Specifications and Technical Specifications, Test Plans (Detailed and High Level).
* Interface with business/program areas and collaborates with customers to define business solutions.
* Ability to maintain and evolve internally and externally created software components.

* Technical Expertise Include:
* Database - NoSQL, Informix
* Server - Apache Tomcat
* Operating system - Linux, Sun Solaris
* Verison Control - CVS, Git or other cloud based repositories
* Technical - XML, Java/J2EE, spring boot, jquery, angular, hibernate, javascript, JSON, restfulAPI's, SOA, Data structures, AWS

G6 is located in a very large and fully renovated building off of International Pkwy. Work environment includes tall cubical allowing for privacy and space for items. All employees recently received brand new desktops and laptops. Dress attire various depending on if leadership from NJ is in town, but typically casual. Work life balance is important to employees as most have family.

Work Hours: Flexible, come and go depending on family or traffic hours, remote if needed
Methodology: Agile

Business Challenge:

The challenge is to support Sales and Operations more efficiently. By moving everything to the Cloud and creating a "Foundation service Layer", G6 will save money and time. G6 is replacing how all the systems are integrated and bringing everything together as one. Currently, there are a variety of different integrations, lot of point to point systems, and customized developed applications. Goal is to define the data integration strategy for G6 applications in the future. They want to tie them together in a true optimize way to exchange info across platform.
