This course also includes addressing for Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPV6) including addressing, Multicast, and Anycast IPv6 Addressing.

Ipv6 Essentials

This course provides knowledge and skills to understand and implement IPv6. Attendees will learn about IPv6 Addressing and the Structure of the IPv6 Protocol. Students will learn about IPv6 address types: Unicast, Multicast, and Anycast). Students will Configure and Troubleshoot IPv6 Addresses on Cisco. Participants will be introduced to ICMPv6, DHCPv6, DNS support for IPv6, and Migrating from IPv4 to IPv6. Students will learn about general security concepts, IPsec Basics and IPv6 Security Elements. Participants will also gain an understanding of how IPv6 will work in both the LAN and WAN environments with a variety of vendors.
