Some experience with ALM/QC and working knowledge of Windows software
ALM 12 has a different ‘look-and-feel’ from ALM/QC 11, including two different methods of access. In addition, ALM 12 includes the concept of ‘Business Views’ which when combined with the new Excel to ALM Add-in, provides users with the ability to directly connect to ALM from Excel and use pre-defined Business Views to create meaningful Excel reports. This one day class covers the new ALM interface, Business Views and new reporting options. This class is designed for experienced ALM/QC users who wish to be able to take advantage of new ALM 12 features. Several of the old ALM/QC reporting options (like Standard reports and ‘Report Generator’) have been discontinued and replaced with reports that rely on Word Templates and Excel.
This course is designed for QA Project Managers, Software Development Managers, Test Team Leads, Business Analysts, Testers, and Defect Managers.
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Quickly adapt to the new ALM 12 ‘look-and-feel’ and use new ALM features to become more productive
