Scam Alert

We are aware of an increase in fraudulent activity involving people impersonating TEKsystems recruiters and requesting payment in exchange for job opportunities. We advise that you do not respond to these requests.

The fraudulent actors are using similar domain names, email addresses, marks and logos of TEKsystems for deception.

TEKsystems will never:

  • Ask prospective job seekers for any payment to access our employment services or to receive job offers. Our services are free for job seekers.
  • Ask prospective job seekers to conduct interviews over Google Hangouts, Telegram or WhatsApp.
  • Ask prospective job seekers to send sensitive personal or financial information via text, such as bank details or other personally identifiable information.
  • Operate any websites or mobile applications that ask people to make investments, purchase products or pay any money to receive commission payments.
  • Offer payment for engaging with social media or liking videos or blog posts.
  • Send email communications from encrypted sites like Proton Mail.

How to protect yourself from scams:

  • Check all email addresses allegedly from TEKsystems. Make sure the email contains the correct domain, @TEKsystems.com.
  • Be cautious when opening links or attachments from unknown third parties; also, be cautious of links or attachments that seem suspicious from a familiar source. In this case, contact the sender to verify.
  • Do not send money at any time to anyone claiming to be from TEKsystems in relation to prospective employment.
  • Do not send payment to receive salary, wages or commission earning investments, either directly or via a mobile application.
  • Watch out for misspellings and grammatical errors in messages and in the domain names.
  • When downloading any mobile application, we encourage you to ensure the application is from a trusted source such as Google Play or the Apple Store app.

If you receive any suspicious communication from someone claiming to represent TEKsystems that you believe to be a scam, we advise that you not respond and verify the identification of that person. Contact your local TEKsystems office to verify the recruiter’s identity.
