HANOVER, MD – October 01, 2012 – TEKsystems®, a leading provider of IT staffing solutions, IT talent management expertise and IT services, reached an agreement to acquire Frontline Consulting Services (FCS) Inc., a global integration services firm with core capabilities in Oracle BI/EPM, Oracle ERP, Oracle Fusion Middleware and Software AG/WebMethods technologies. FCS will join TEKsystems’ Global ServicesTM division, which delivers managed, project-based and outsourced IT services. The financial terms of the deal are not disclosed.
Since its founding in 1996, FCS has grown into the largest Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) integration partner in the United States . FCS’ US headquarters is in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a Development Center in Hyderabad, India and operations in the U.K, Netherlands and South Africa. TEKsystems operates in more than 100 locations in North America, Europe and Asia. This pairing creates significant benefits by combining the FCS service platform, mature off-shore capabilities and experienced delivery personnel with TEKsystems Global Services’ access to customers and ability to scale the business.
“FCS will operate the way it did before in many ways, but now it will be augmented by TEKsystems Global Services’ extensive sales, recruiting and delivery capabilities which will provide greater value to FCS’ clients, employees and prospects. Our clients will continue to receive the innovation FCS’ has become known for while TEKsystems Global Services brings additional strengths and capabilities to the relationship,” says FCS CEO & President, Vikas Handa.
“Acquiring FCS presents a great opportunity for us to expand our current capabilities in the Oracle BI/EPM, ERP and integration space. It combines FCS’ international presence, mature offshore model, close connectivity to Oracle’s roadmap and experienced delivery teams with TEKsystems’ scale and established sales and delivery models. This acquisition is about improving the way both companies deliver value to our customers,” says TEKsystems Global Services Vice President Randy Verdino.
