Our client launched an enterprise-wide payroll remediation programme to minimise discrepancies in payroll calculation, improve overall documentation, and ensure 100% compliance with their established standards. This was part of a wider initiative to optimise costs, strengthen governance, and enhance employee satisfaction by improving the quality and accuracy of payroll operations across the entire organisation.

To drive this initiative, our client partnered with an external vendor to set up their data modelling and technical framework and form a comprehensive set of rules based off their enterprise payroll agreements. Once the implementation roadmap was set in place, they needed to quickly onboard skilled technical and functional experts to deliver the entire programme of work on time and within budget.

Over a two-year period, TEKsystems deployed 12+ Data Analysts and Business Analysts with a blend of payroll, testing, analytical, and technical skills to systematically work through each stream of the payroll data remediation programme. With their strong expertise in SQL, Excel, and Oracle, our consultants conducted extensive data analysis, validated findings from test runs, tested the output from SQL data models, and provided cutting-edge insights to the business to facilitate informed, data-driven decision making.

By upskilling our team through regular knowledge transfer sessions and bringing in high-calibre resources with technical backgrounds, we were able to enhance test coverage, boost test case execution efficiency, and ensure that all test cases were correctly remediated and put into practice within the new payroll system.
