Through the remainder of the 1980s, Aerotek developed several subsidiaries (Data Temps, Aerotek Data Services Group, Maxim Group) that expanded beyond aeronautics, engineering and light industrial markets to meet IT applications, infrastructure and communications needs. TEKsystems® split from Aerotek in the 1990s to focus on and specialize in IT.
