WAN jobs may involve: assisting in day-to-day wide area network maintenance, deploying network servers to integrate local area networks across metropolitan, regional or national boundaries, identifying hardware issues, server infrastructure maintenance (with Cisco, Windows 2000/2003 Server, or Windows NT Advanced Server), maintaining network security for virus definitions and spyware, troubleshooting software configurations, hardware support, and system upgrades.
Qualified applicants for our WAN jobs will be responsible for network configuration, tuning, troubleshooting and reporting. They should also possess knowledge in: Windows Operating Systems, servers, network security, VPN’s, Open Source Software including Linux, and general office practices and procedures.
