LAN Jobs with TEKsystems

LAN jobs may involve: assisting in day-to-day network maintenance, deploying network servers for either corporate office environments or customer facing systems, identifying hardware issues, server maintenance, maintaining network security for virus definitions and spyware, troubleshooting software configurations, hardware support, computer upgrades, purchasing of PC’s services and software with approved budgets, and seeking new technology to solve IT problems. Other specific duties include infrastructure maintenance with Cisco, Windows 2000/2003 Server or Windows NT Advanced Server.

Qualified applicants for our LAN jobs will be responsible for network configuration, tuning, troubleshooting and reporting. They should also possess knowledge in: Windows Operating Systems, servers, network security, Open Source Software including Linux, and general office practices and procedures.
