TEKsystems Opens Satellite Office in Buffalo, NY
Expands Services to Clients in Upstate New York area and Southern Tier Markets
BUFFALO, NY > 05.18.07 The TEKsystems Rochester office opened a new satellite office in Buffalo, NY on February 12, 2007 to service the Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, and Southern Tier markets.
Since TEKsystems opened its Rochester, NY office in 1992, they wanted to expand the market into the upstate NY area. Buffalo was targeted for expansion due to the current business done there, and the amount of potential business opportunities within Information Technology and communications services.
It was important for TEKsystems to give the same high-quality service to all of their clients and Technical Professionals in the Buffalo area. Kellylynn Naber, Director of Business Operations for the Rochester office and now the Buffalo office, is from Buffalo. Therefore, Naber has a feeling of personal investment to the community as well as high hopes for future projects in the upstate NY area.
“It’s great to be a part of this growing market, be able to provide services to our customers, and have the opportunity to serve the IT community. I know Buffalo will be a successful expansion,” Naber said.
The TEKsystems Rochester office currently has nearly 200 Technical Professionals and 70 active customer accounts. The sales office contains 10 sales people, 20 recruiters, and a team of support staff to service these customers and Technical Professionals. Locally, there are nearly 50 Technical Professionals working in the Buffalo area that are supported by this office.
